Collecting Bloodmoon Essence
During a Blood Moon, you may encounter purple wisps scattered across Yaesha’s outdoor maps. Shooting these wisps will yield one Bloodmoon Essence each. While their spawn locations seem random, they are often found hovering over specific areas and grouped in clusters of three or four.
Note that the occurrence of Blood Moons in Yaesha is random every time you enter an instance. There’s no need to reroll a campaign or Adventure Mode run. Simply move between two areas until a Blood Moon emerges. Once it does, scour the entire map and shoot every wisp in sight. Be on your guard, though, as enemy spawns may complicate your task.
Purchasing the Faded Grimoire and Unlocking the Summoner Archetype
The Faded Grimoire is available for 15 Bloodmoon Essence, 5 Lumenite Crystals, and 1500 Scrap. After obtaining the Grimoire, return to Wallace in Ward 13 and pay an additional 10 Lumenite Crystals and 1000 Scrap to unlock the Tome of the Bringer Engram. This item allows players to swap to the Summoner Archetype at will, and also makes the Summoner available as a starting Archetype during character creation.
