Your objective is to locate a Bloodmoon Altar, generally found in the second open area of this world, such as the Far Woods or the Forbidden Grove. Collecting Bloodmoon Essence

During a Blood Moon, you may encounter purple wisps scattered across Yaesha’s outdoor maps. Shooting these wisps will yield one Bloodmoon Essence each. While their spawn locations seem random, they are often found hovering over specific areas and grouped in clusters of three or four.

Note that the occurrence of Blood Moons in Yaesha is random every time you enter an instance. There’s no need to reroll a campaign or Adventure Mode run. Simply move between two areas until a Blood Moon emerges. Once it does, scour the entire map and shoot every wisp in sight. Be on your guard, though, as enemy spawns may complicate your task.
