2. Gathering More Scrap
In contrast to the first installment, Remnant 2 offers lesser amounts of Scrap. A reliable method to gather more Scrap is to seek chests, most of which are now indicated on the 3D map. A shimmering sound means you’re close to a hidden chest.
Another strategy to acquire Scrap is to consistently break prop items like barrels and vases. You can use a melee weapon with a wide swing like the Greatsword, or simply roll through them.

3. Utilize Mutators
Armor sets in Remnant 2 no longer carry unique bonuses. Instead, these bonuses have shifted to Mutators, special items you can slot into any weapon you possess. These items are helpful in the early stages and show their full potential once fully upgraded.
To upgrade Mutators, visit Dwell at the shooting range in Ward 13. Be prepared to use a substantial amount of resources for this, so ensure you’re well-stocked.
4. How to Backstep
A backstep is a defensive move faster than a standard dodge roll, ideal for evading combo attacks and fighting in confined spaces. To execute a backstep, simply press the dodge button without moving.
